BN leaders begin arriving at WTCKL for supreme council meeting


KUALA LUMPUR: Top Barisan Nasional leaders have begun arriving for its supreme council meeting at Menara Dato' Onn in the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) here on Tuesday (Nov 22).

MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon and secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon arrived at about 10am.

Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) deputy president Datuk Arthur Kurup was spotted earlier at about 9.50am.

Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani was also seen but did not speak to the press.

Barisan and its component parties will meet at 11am to make a collective decision on forming a post-electoral pact, if any.

The 15th General Election (GE15) on Saturday (Nov 19) resulted in a hung Parliament as no single party or coalition managed to win a simple majority.

Among the three major coalitions, Pakatan Harapan won 82 seats, Perikatan Nasional 73 and Barisan, 30.
