GE15: Perak Umno chairman arrives at Istana Kinta for audience with Sultan

IPOH: UMNO Perak chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad has arrived at Istana Kinta for an audience with the Sultan of Perak.

His vehicle was spotted entering the premises at 12.29pm Monday (Nov 21).

Saarani was believed to have been at the Umno building here earlier for a meeting to discuss a possible state government pact between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional.

DAP Perak treasurer and newly-elected Ipoh Timor MP Howard Lee Chuan How was also seen entering Istana Kinta in his vehicle earlier.

At the Perak state level where there are 59 available seats, Perikatan Nasional won 26 seats, Pakatan Harapan has 24 while Barisan has nine seats.

Barisan Nasional won three parliamentary seats in Perak. Pakatan Harapan won 11 while Perikatan Nasional took 10 seats.
