SHAH ALAM: Perikatan Nasional is willing to form a government with any party which will accept its principles but will reject any cooperation with Pakatan Harapan outright, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The coalition won a total of 70 seats in GE15, including 22 parliamentary seats using the PAS logo as of 3am on Sunday (Nov 20).

The Perikatan chairman said its leaders had agreed to form the government possibly by Wednesday (Nov 23).

He also said Perikatan had received a letter from Istana Negara which stated conditions the King wanted to be fulfilled before forming the government.

"To form the government, we will discuss with the coalitions in Sabah and Sarawak soon. "To ensure better stability, we are willing to accept any party which is willing to accept our caring, clean and stable principles.

"If we form a government with those with the same view, our priority is to fulfil all promises we made throughout our campaign.

"We say no to Pakatan Harapan," said Muhyiddin.

However, he did not rule out working with Barisan Nasional to chants of "reject Zahid" and said that there would be further discussions.

Throughout the press conference, Perikatan supporters made their dislike for Barisan clear with repeated chants of 'No BN, No Zahid.

Chants of 'No PH, No DAP' were also heard although not as vociferous as the previous chants against Barisan.
