KUALA LUMPUR: Former Treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah received an average of RM25,000 a month as a member of the board of advisers (BOA) of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) despite not attending any board meetings, the High Court heard.
Mohd Irwan, who is the 42nd prosecution witness, testified that after his appointment as a BOA member, he received allowances from 1MDB "consistently each month beginning Aug 26, 2013 until 2015".
