GE15: Liow saddened to hear of Young Syefura's miscarriage, wishes her well

BENTONG: Barisan National candidate for Bentong Tan Sri Liow Tiong Lai is saddened by the news that Pakatan Harapan candidate Young Syefura Othman has suffered a miscarriage.

In a Facebook post, Liow sent his best wishes to Syefura.

"I have just heard about Syefura's miscarriage. It makes me feel sad.

"I hope she rests and recuperates well."

"Here's sending my sincere care and wishes," he posted.

In response, Young Syefura thanked Liow for his concern.

"I really appreciate it. Sorry for not being at the operations room (during your visit) as I am resting at home," she tweeted.

Young Syefura, who just turned 33, had posted on Instagram on Thursday (Nov 10) morning that she had suffered a miscarriage.

She said she had wanted to announce her pregnancy after the election but it was confirmed that she suffered a miscarriage six weeks into her pregnancy.
