KOTA KINABALU: Peter Anthony, whose nomination papers to contest the Tenom seat were rejected Saturday by the Election Commission returning officer, has no quick legal fix to get back into the race, says a lawyer.
The only legal option for Anthony, the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) president, is to file an election petition after the election results are gazetted, say lawyers familiar with election laws.
