SEREMBAN: Independent candidate for Port Dickson and serial police report maker Abdul Rani Kulup Abdullah has released his manifesto for the upcoming elections.

The manifesto, released to the media via WhatsApp, showed that he would lean heavily on welfare for veterans and soldiers.

“I will work on problems faced by Armed Forces veterans until they are resolved. I would also sreate a 'perkampungan lestari veteran (permanent veterans' village)',” the manifesto said

The existing camps and housing for Armed Forces personnel will also be maintained, he said.

Abdul Rani also promised that he would resolve documentation issues for children born “tanpa nikah yang sah (unrecognised marriages)".

Port Dickson will see a five-cornered fight in the 15th General Election.
