GE15: Seven-cornered fight for Alor Setar seat

ALOR SETAR : The Alor Setar parliamentary seat will see a seven-cornered fight for the first time, with five candidates from political parties and two independents in the ring for the 15th General Election (GE15).

The candidates are Barisan Nasional 's Tan Chee Hiong from MCA who will be contesting for the first time up against Perikatan Nasional's Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamuddin, Datuk Mohamad Nuhairi Rahmat of Pejuang, Datuk Fadzil Hanafi from Warisan and Pakatan Harapan's Simon Ooi.
