GE15: Gobind to contest in Damansara


PETALING JAYA: Former Puchong MP Gobind Singh will contest in Damansara for the 15th General Election (GE15).

The two other candidates for the parliamentary seat were Barisan Nasional’s Tan Gim Tuan from MCA and Lim Si Ching from Perikatan Nasional.

In the last general election, incumbent Tony Pua Kiam Wee won the Damansara parliamentary seat with a majority of 106,903 votes, the highest recorded majority nationwide.

Tan, who is also Damansara MCA division chief, contested in the Kampung Tunku state seat in GE14 but was defeated by PKR’s Lim Yi Wei.
