GE15: Ex-PKR youth chief Mohamad Ezam to contest Petaling Jaya seat for PRM

PORT KLANG: Former PKR stalwart Datuk Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor (pic) is among nine candidates listed by Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) to contest in the coming 15th General Election.

PRM vice president Ahmad Jufliz Faiza announced that Mohamad Ezam will be contesting the Petaling Jaya parliamentary seat while Ahmad Jufliz, a lawyer, takes on Khairy Jamaluddin in the contest for the Sungai Buloh parliamentary seat.

"PRM will contest nine parliamentary seats in Selangor, namely Kuala Selangor, Bangi, Petaling Jaya, Sungai Buloh, Kapar, Klang, Kota Raja, Kuala Langat and Sepang.

"We will also be fielding one candidate for the Batu parliamentary seat in Federal Territories and another candidate for the Batu Pahat parliamentary seat in (Johor),” he told reporters after announcing and introducing the candidates, here Thursday (Nov 3).

When asked about the criteria for the selection of candidates, Ahmad Julfiz said the party did not set any criteria but the topmost quality of the individual must be to serve the people. - Bernama
