Probe into kolam vandalising referred to Bukit Aman

KLANG: Investigations into the two suspects linked to the vandalising of a Deepavali kolam at a hospital here have been referred to the federal police.

It is learnt that the investigation papers had been completed and were referred to Bukit Aman.

The police are awaiting further instructions pending reports from a telco company and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao confirmed the matter.

In a statement Sunday (Oct 30), KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital said that they had been informed of the video that allegedly depicted one of their staff members.

"KPJ Klang does not condone any act of disrespect among its staff within the compound of the hospital.

"We have launched an internal investigation into the video and stern actions will be taken should our staff is (found to be) involved," it said.
