KOTA BARU: PAS' eight MPs in Kelantan are set to defend their seats in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15).
This includes Kota Baru incumbent Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan (pic), Datuk Marzuk Shaary (Pengkalan Chepa), Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (Kubang Kerian), Datuk Seri Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (Tanah Merah) and Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff (Rantau Panjang).
The Perikatan Nasional candidate announcement was made by State Perikatan chairman and Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium’s Dataran Warisan, here, on Wednesday night (Nov 2).
Bersatu youth chief Wan Ahmad Fahysal Wan Ahmad Kamal will also be fielded in Machang to face Kelantan Barisan Nasional division chief Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub.
It is also confirmed that Datuk Khlir Md Nor from Bersatu will be fielded in Ketereh against Barisan Nasional's Marzuani Ardila Ariffin.
Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed's political secretary, Zahari Kechik, will also be replacing him in Jeli as Perikatan Nasional's candidate.
