KL cops arrest man for attacking friend with beer bottle

KUALA LUMPUR: A man was attacked with a beer bottle after an argument with a friend.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the fight occurred on Oct 25 near the Seri Intan apartment in Lembah Jaya Selatan.

"The suspect attacked the victim with the bottle, injuring him in the head and hand areas.

"On Saturday (Oct 29), a 28-year-old man was arrested at a house in Lorong Ikan Emas here," he said in a statement on Sunday (Oct 30).

It is believed that the fight started following an argument over a past incident where the complainant had bullied the suspect in a drunken state.

The suspect was on the police's wanted list but tested negative for drugs.
