GE15: Chow to contest Batu Kawan, Lim Hui Ying in Tanjong

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow will contest the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat in GE15, replacing Kasthuriraani Patto.

Penang DAP secretary Senator Lim Hui Ying will replace Chow Kon Yeow in the Tanjong seat.

Five other candidates were announced, namely RSN Rayer to defend Jelutong, Ramkarpal Singh to defend Bukit Gelugor, Steven Sim to defend Bukit Mertajam and Lim Guan Eng to defend Bagan.

For Bukit Bendera, Seri Delima assemblyman Syerleena Abdul Rashid will take over from Wong Hon Wai.

The names were announced by DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke on Sunday (Oct 30).
