Over 30 people believed trapped in Gua Tempurung after cave exit floods


IPOH: About 30 people are believed to be trapped inside Gua Tempurung, after the exit to the cave flooded due to heavy rain.

Kampar OCPD Superintendent Mohamad Nazri Daud, water levels began to rise at about 3pm on Wednesday (Oct 26).

"Those trapped inside are a film crew who were shooting at the location.

"The Fire and Rescue Department has been notified of the incident. A team of policemen has also been mobilised to the location to help rescue efforts," he said.
