All 30 victims trapped in Gua Tempurung rescued, says Perak Bomba


IPOH: All 30 victims who were trapped in Gua Tempurung near here after the entrance flooded have been rescued.

A Perak and Fire Rescue Department spokesman said all 30 victims managed to get out of the cave at 5.45pm on Wednesday (Oct 26).

The victims, who were filming in the cave, were trapped at the back of the cave after the entrance flooded.

"All were unharmed. Rescue personnel brought out 10 people first and the rest were brought out by their own production crew.

"The operation ended at about 6.50pm," he added.
