Civil Defence rescues kitten stranded on Penang Bridge


GEORGE TOWN: A kitten that had fallen and was stuck in the middle of a pole 3m below Penang Bridge has been rescued by the Malaysian Civil Defence Force.

The Civil Defence north-east district operations control centre received an emergency call from a fisherman asking for help on Monday (Oct 24), saying that there was a kitten that had fallen and was stuck in the middle of a pole, 3m from the road.
