Labuan private vehicle ferry fares up by 42.5% from Nov 1

LABUAN: After 15 years without change, the roll-on roll-off (roro) ferry fare for private vehicles for the Labuan-Menumbok-Labuan ferry has been revised upward by 42.5% effective Nov 1.

Labuan roro ferry operator Labuan Mainland Link Sdn Bhd chairman Datuk Chin Hong Vui said the revision – which does not involve commercial vehicles (transporting goods) – was made after taking into consideration the rise in operating costs.
