Two-week campaign period shows no favouritism, says MIC veep

JOHOR BARU: The Election Commission’s (EC) decision to allow a two-week campaign period for GE15 shows that Barisan Nasional has not rigged the polls in its favour, says MIC vice president Datuk M. Asojan.

He said he hoped that speculation that the campaign period would be short because of the monsoon, which was used by the Opposition, could now be put to rest.
