KUALA LUMPUR: Disaster management committees at all state and district levels have been ordered to activate immediately to boost preparedness to face any disaster.
The directive was issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali (pic) who chaired the 2022/2023 Flood Preparedness Working Committee Meeting Number 2 on Monday (Oct 17), by taking into account rain forecasts, rainfall distribution, thunderstorms, landslides and floods in several states.
