KOTA KINABALU: Nine people trapped at their houses at Kampung Mansiang in Manggatal here due to flash floods have been rescued by firemen, with rescue services on high alert as rain continues to fall in the west coast of Sabah.
A Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman said the victims were taken to higher ground as no temporary relief centres were open as of 5pm Sunday (Oct 9).
