Budget 2023: RM6.3bil allocation insufficient for Sabah's development needs, says Liew

KOTA KINABALU: The RM6.3bil allocation in Budget 2023 is unlikely to meet the urgent infrastructure development needs in Sabah, says Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew.

Although Budget 2023 saw an increase in allocations (from RM5.2bil in Budget 2022) Liew said that she was concerned that the amount was not enough to meet the state's pressing need for infrastructure development and proposed improvement of education and health facilities.
