Road closure around Brickfields on Oct 8, say cops

KUALA LUMPUR: Jalan Tun Sambanthan and lanes leading into the stretch will be closed temporarily on Saturday (Oct 8).

In a statement on Thursday (Oct 6), Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the road closure will start from 6.45am until 10am.

The closure will be carried out due to the National Sports Day at the police contingent level at Pekan Little India.

“All road users, especially around Pekan Little India, should plan their journey to avoid any difficulties or traffic jams due to the closure.

"They should obey all instructions given by the police throughout the duration of the event,” he said.
