Despite suffering jet lag, official duty comes first for Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: Being jet lagged did not stop Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong from attending the Dewan Rakyat sitting.

In a Facebook post, Dr Wee said he just returned to Malaysia from Canada early Thursday (Oct 6) morning.

"I haven't been able to sleep and was affected by the jet lag.

"I rushed to the Dewan Negara for the presentation of three Bills that are under the jurisdiction of the Transport Ministry," he said.

He also quipped that he still looked steady despite the travelling.

"Does my face look tired or sleepy?

"Seems 'steady' still hehehe..." he joked.

Dr Wee was in Montreal, Canada, on Sept 24 to attend the 41st International Civil Aviation Organisation general assembly.
