Ride-share driver injured in car theft


KUALA LUMPUR: A ride-share driver was injured after his car was stolen on Monday (Oct 3) at 8pm, says Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya

"The suspect injured the 48-year-old victim and ran off with the vehicle. It was then found abandoned at the PKNS Kg Baru flat. Dents and scratches were found on the vehicle," he said, adding that there had not been a chase," he said.

The victim was sent to the hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
