Phase two of govt poverty eradication programme to start in mid-October, says Mustapa


GUA MUSANG: Phase two of the Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family) hardcore poverty eradication programme (BMTKM) will begin in the middle of this month and will involve 110 localities nationwide, says Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed (pic).

The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) said the participation of about 10,000 hardcore poor household heads (KIR) was an initiative by the government to eradicate hardcore poverty under the 12th Malaysia Plan.
