Malaysia, Spain to cooperate on re-election to ICAO, says Dr Wee


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia and Spain are also seeking re-election into the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) council, says Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"Malaysia and Spain are mutually supporting each other in our quest to seek re-election into the ICAO Council," said Dr Wee following a chat with Spain Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda Minister Raquel Sanchez Jimenez at their reception.

Dr Wee then met Canadian Transport Minister Omar Alghabra and the Italian reception where he expressed gratitude for the friendship and support from counterparts around the world.

Dr Wee is in Montreal, Canada representing Malaysia at the 41st session of ICAO in Montreal, Canada which started on Tuesday (Sept 27).
