Flour thief caught breaking into car in Johor


PASIR GUDANG: Police have arrested a man for allegedly stealing a box of flour at Taman Kota Masai here.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said that the incident occurred at about 1.15am on Saturday (Sept 24).

“The suspect broke the car window of a 30-year-old man before stealing a box of flour from inside the vehicle.

“The suspect tried to run away when a neighbour noticed him stealing but was caught by the victim and neighbour.

“They then handed him over to the police for further action,” he said in a statement here on Saturday (Sept 24).

He said they also found a spanner that was used to shatter the car window along with the box of flour on the 31-year-old man.

“We would like to thank the public for their cooperation and the information shared.

"The police will continue working closely with the public,” he said.
