Pakatan convention to be held in Perak on Oct 29

PETALING JAYA: The Pakatan Harapan convention will be held in Perak on Oct 29.

The coalition’s information chief Teo Nie Ching said in a statement that this was decided at the presidential council meeting on Wednesday (Sept 21).

Perak DAP chairman and Teluk Intan MP Nga Kor Ming had also been appointed as the director of the convention.

Teo added that the Harapan tour series and ceramah by the coalition’s main leadership would be held at four parliamentary constituencies namely Tambun, Lumut, Tapah and Parit Buntar on Oct 28, to bring the people closer and to uplift their spirit in view of the upcoming 15th General Election.

Speculations are abound that elections could be called this year and Parliament could be dissolved after the tabling of Budget 2023.
