Elderly woman hurt in Bangsar house break-in


KUALA LUMPUR: An elderly woman was injured during a house burglary in Bangsar.

The incident occurred on Wednesday (Sept 21) and it is believed that she had been injured by robbers at her house along Jalan Maarof.

When contacted, Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor confirmed that a report was lodged.

"The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code, for voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery. Investigations are ongoing," he said.

Messages of the incident had spread within the community there.

The messages claimed that an elderly lady was injured and had to be sent to the hospital for treatment following the attack.
