THE rallying cry by Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to party members to work hard and win the general election even if it is held during the monsoon has sparked a debate.

Opposition parties immediately slammed Ahmad Zahid for the move, pointing out the massive losses amounting to RM6.5bil, besides the loss of 50 lives due to floods in the country, which were disastrous.
