Don't be duped by fake infographics on free houses, jobs, says Sabah CM's office

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

KOTA KINABALU: Infographics on job vacancies and free houses for the people with the picture of Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor attached on social media are fake and an attempt to scam victims.

The Chief Minister 's media and communications office said that the infographics, which use the state crest, are being spread as by certain websites.

"We advise the public to be wary of several infographics on job vacancies and Rumah Mesra SMJ that has the state government's crest accompanied by photographs of Hajiji.

"They are merely clickbait and contain false information to route traffic to a certain website," the statement read.

The statement added that the link provided in the infographics on the Rumah Mesra SMJ was also fake as it would redirect people to another sham page about vacancies in the Air Force.
