MELAKA: A departmental director of a public university here was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) here for allegedly accepting a car from a contractor as an inducement to approve a RM1.6mil project.
According to a MACC source, the head of the facility management department at the higher learning institution was arrested on Monday (Sept 20) when he turned up at the Melaka MACC office in Alai here to have his statement recorded.
