Man drowns in Lumut trying to stop car from sliding into sea

IPOH: A man drowned while trying to stop his car from sliding into the sea near a beach on Jalan Teluk Senangin in Lumut.

A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the man, identified as Muhammad Hafiz Ramli, 31, had been wedged by his car as he was trying to stop it from sliding down towards the water on Thursday (Sept 15) night.
