Catnapped: 'Give me RM6,000 or I'll throw your cat in the river'

PETALING JAYA: An emotional support cat is alleged to be ‘catnapped’ and threatened to be thrown into a nearby river if a RM6,000 ransom is not paid, says the Malaysia Animal Association.

Its president Arie Dwi Andika says this was the first ever kidnapping case in Malaysia involving a cat and thousands of ringgit in ransom reported in Kuching, Sarawak.
