Hasni appointed LLM chairman


JOHOR BARU: Former Johor mentri besar Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad has been appointed chairman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM).

The Johor Umno chairman and supreme council member replaced Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari.

Hasni, who is Benut assemblyman, has an engineering background.

In a Facebook post on Sunday (Sept 4), Hasni said he had a new duty at the federal level.

“God willing, I will do my best for Malaysia. I am looking forward to contributing to the nation in any capacity,” he said.

According to the LLM website, Hasni’s appointment, which took effect on Aug 15, would be until Aug 14, 2024.

In a Facebook post, LLM also welcomed Hasni as its new chairman.

“Welcome Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad to LLM,” it said.
