Labuan Port services improved after privatisation, says Ongkili

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili getting updates on the Labuan port from Megah Port Management chief executive officer Datuk Seri Patrick Tiong Chiong Kui on Saturday.

LABUAN: Services offered by the Labuan Port have improved with its privatisation in 2020 and it is now eying cruise ships, says Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.

The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) said the turnaround time for vessels docking at the port had improved from about three days to just 24 hours.
