Govt contracts: Do it by the book or risk consequences, says G25


PETALING JAYA: High-profile court cases involving government procurement contracts should serve as a reminder to civil servants and ministers to follow proper procedures and the rule of law, says the G25 group of eminent Malays.

The group issued a statement on Friday (Sept 2) saying that any non-compliances could have serious implications on the government and economy, as well as legal consequences for those responsible.
