Retiree cheated of RM1.87mil in parcel scam

JOHOR BARU: A 67-year-old retiree here was cheated of RM1.87mil in a parcel scam after he met a woman on Facebook in May who claimed to be from Brazil.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Rupiah Wahid said the scammer told the victim she was a doctor working in the United Kingdom.
