Anwar: New tabling date of Budget 2023 shows govt under Umno pressure


PETALING JAYA: The government’s decision to bring forward Budget 2023 is a sign that the Prime Minister is under immense pressure from Umno, says PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic).

He said that while moving the tabling date forward by three weeks was not an unusual practice, it has become an open secret that Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is facing strong pressure from the Umno leadership.
