RM12.35mil contribution meant for YAB welfare activities, says Ahmad Zahid


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told the High Court here that a donation of RM13.25 million from a businessman, Junaith Asharab Md Shariff, was meant for Yayasan Akalbudi (YAB) welfare activities.

The 69-year-old former deputy prime minister said during hearings on Tuesday (Aug 23) that the donation was not for his personal benefit.
