KUCHING: There will be no by-election for the Sarawak state constituency of Batu Lintang despite the departure of the incumbent See Chee How from Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB), under whose ticket he had won the seat.
Sarawak state assembly Speaker Tan Sri Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar stated that he was unable to determine whether See’s actions disqualified him from being a state assemblyman under Sarawak Constitution Article 17(7)(a).
