Sabah cops recapture escaped detainee thanks to tip-off

KOTA KINABALU: A detainee who escaped from police custody while undergoing treatment at the Luyang clinic near here has been recaptured.

According to sources, police received a call from a member of the public that a man dressed in purple with handcuffs on was seen trying to cross the road in the Lintas construction site at around 1pm on Monday (Aug 22).
