Man attacked by crocodile while fishing in Semporna


KOTA KINABALU: A man went missing after he was attacked by a crocodile while fishing with a friend at a river in Semporna on Sunday (Aug 21).

The Fire and Rescue Department received a report at 7.16pm about the incident at Sungai Pegagau.

"According to the victim's friend, he was snatched by the reptile around 3pm. The team at the location is getting more details and mounting a search and rescue operation.

"Information will be updated from time to time," said a spokesman.
