Lokman escapes sanction after apology over 'stupid' remark to cop

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam narrowly escaped being penalised further by the High Court over his use of the word "stupid" inside the courtroom by giving an unreserved apology to a High Court judge.

Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah let Lokman off with a final warning not to repeat his actions which he committed during proceedings before the judge in the corruption trial of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on June 30.
