KUALA LUMPUR: Supporters and coalition members have gathered for the Wanita Barisan Nasional Convention at the World Trade Centre (WTCKL) here on Sunday (Aug 14).
There will be a slew of key speakers scheduled to give their speeches including Wanita Barisan chief Datuk Noraini Ahmad and Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan for the opening of the event.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is set to deliver his speech during the Bicara Hati Perdana Menteri slot.
Other leaders slated to speak at the convention on Sunday are Barisan advisory board chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak while Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will be launching the event and delivering the closing speech.
The WTCKL was in a hive of activity on Sunday with several BN Wanita supporters clad in the coalition’s infamous blue.
Several resolutions are expected to be adopted ahead of the GE15.
