Wong Mee Ling, 33, and her male colleague Tong Chu Ping, 64, pleaded guilty in a Magistrate's Court here on Monday (Aug 8) to a charge of committing public affray under Section 160 of the Penal Code.

The section provides for a jail term of up to one year or a fine of up to RM1,000, or both, if found guilty.

The court was told that a fight between the two happened at about 8am on July 20 in front of a budget hotel in Jalan Market, over a fare.

Both drivers sustained injuries from being hit on the head with a stick.
