SEREMBAN: Five men, including a police officer and three brothers, have been acquitted and discharged of three murders without their defence being called.
High Court judge Justice Azman Abdullah said here on Friday (Aug 3) the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie case against Asst Supt S. Selvakumar, 45; brothers N. Rajasakanan, 43, Sureshkannah, 42, and Thanabalan, 35; and R. Veeramuthu, 56.
