Get permission before inviting religious speakers, says Melaka Religious Council

MELAKA: Any organisation wanting to invite religious speakers from outside the state for events must get the permission of the Melaka Religious Council's Mufti Department.

Council deputy chairman Datuk Wira Md Rawi Mahmud said that permission should be sought at least a week prior to the event in the case of local speakers and a month prior to the event for foreign speakers.
