IGP: Bukit Aman welcomes IPCC Bill, Sosma extension

KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman welcomes the Dewan Rakyat's decision to pass the The Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC) Bill.

They also believe the motion to extend the detention period of suspects under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma) to 28 days would allow them to dispense their duties more effectively.
